Radev and Orban Discuss Strengthening Fight against Illegal Human Trafficking across EU External Borders and Energy Partnership
President Rumen Radev and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban discussed in a telephone talk the need to strengthen the fight against human trafficking across the EU's external borders as the most effective measure in countering illegal migration.
The bilateral partnership in the field of energy and the possibility for this country to support Hungary's energy diversification were also touched on. The opportunities for Bulgaria to supply more energy resources to Hungary were also highlighted, following Bulgaria's access to the liquefied gas terminals of Greece and Turkey, the commissioning of the interconnector with Greece and the anticipated completion of the Bulgaria-Serbia gas interconnector by the end of the year.
